Steve Meadows Wins Living The Mission Award

Steve Meadows, president of the Virginia Quarter Horse Association, was given the Living The Mission award at the 2012 All American Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus, Ohio.

The award, presented to Meadows during the Equine Chronicle Masters classes on October 27, is given to equestrian trainers who exhibit “character, integrity, and stewardship in their life and business practices.” The Southern Belle Futurity bestows the annual award, which showcases trainers who advocate for all aspects of the equestrian community at the local, state, and national level.

Meadows is a full-time trainer, judges AQHA and NSBA shows, is a member of the AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Council, and represents the American Quarter Horse on the Virginia Horse Council.

Congratulations to Steve!
