Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo Sept. 22


Once again we are gearing up for the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo (2012 National Finals) at Showplace Arena on September 22nd, 2012!  The Greatest Show on Dirt! So get out your western wear and bring the kids and grand parents. See the attached flyer, press release and special Rodeo For Kidz Sake flyers for details.  
ADVANCED TICKET SALES:
Advanced ticket sales may be obtained starting on Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012.  Please contact me directly about individual distributors within our Local Cowboy & Cowgirl Family. The local groups who will be assisting with sales are the National Capital Area Cowboys & Cowgirls (NCACC), United Horsemen's Association & Rough Riders Horseman's Association. NCACC will have tickets sales on-line starting Sept. 1.
We will also have advanced sales tickets available at Carol's Western Wear (Glen Burnie & Laurel Stores).
Advanced Ticket Sales Prices: Adult tickets $19 / Child tickets (2-12 years old) $16 / Seniors (above 60 yrs old) $16. All ticket sales are for General Admission. Expect a higher price of $3 per ticket at the door or through any other vendor. Purchasing from one of us means you won't be paying a surcharge. We expect this show to sell out so get your tickets now.

Grand Entry Riders: 
The same is true this year, as last; there is a Grand Entry Fee of $25 which includes admission to both the 1:30pm and 7:30pm shows. All Wrist Bands must be acquired directly from the Rodeo Secretary; day of the show. This year there will be BPIR staff member stationed outside the arena to accommodate both entry wristbands and relay race registration. I will provide the forms for relay registration in about 2 weeks from now. As with last year, please see Montague regarding stall use and fee. 
Important noteGrand Entry is limited to BPIR STAFF, RIDING CLUBS, ORGANIZATIONS and RIDING STABLES wearing the same colors and in full western dress. i.e., Western Hat, Long Sleeve Shirts and of course jeans. No individual riders will be allowed to enter unless registered and riding with a group. Please spread the word. Western Dress with long sleeve shirts, western hat and riding boots ONLY!
Celebrations:
Rodeo Welcoming Luncheon - Friday, Sept. 21st, 12:00 Noon (Show Place Arena Paddock Room - Immediately following Rodeo For Kids Sake Program)
Official Rodeo After Party - Saturday, Sept. 22nd, 10:30 PM - 1:30 PM ( Show Place Arena Tack/Paddock Rooms - Admission $10) 
Pre-Rodeo Celebration (TBD) (still in planning stage)
