The United States Equine Rescue League, Inc, is pleased to acknowledge a generous grant from the Jessica Beath Foundation.
Jessica Beath started The Beath Foundation in 1991 to honor the memory of her husband Dr. Thomas Beath, her parents Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas and her sisters Annie Thomson and Beatrice Stockdale. Its mission is to provide for general charitable purposes, most notably the care and rescue of animals.
USERL is honored to play a part in this mission through its ongoing mission of rescuing abused, neglected, or abandoned equines; provide them with care and rehabilitation; and finally find them a compatible, loving home.
Concurrently, The Beath Foundation has increased their matching grant campaign for the USERL - VA Richmond Region to $10,000! Donation gifts of $20 or more, up to a total of $10,000, made in the central Virginia Area through June 23, 2011.
